Nature of duty : SRF(Agriculture): Collection and compilation of soil, crop weather data of the adopted villages use in crop simulation models. Organizing farmers awareness programmes in the villages, running of crop simulation models and any other duties assigned by the Principal
Investigator of the project.


SRF (Social Sciences): Collection and compilation of socio economic data from the adopted villages, use of economic models and organization of farmers awareness programmes. Compilation of results and report writing and any other duties assigned by the Principal Investigator of the project.


Minimum qualification required: SRF (Agriculture): Post Graduate degree (M.Sc  / M.Tech) in Meteorology, M.Sc in Satellite Meteorology and Weather Informatics or M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Agril. Meteorology, Agronomy, Soil Science & Agrl. Chemistry from a recognized University / Institution. Candidate having knowledge/ experience in GIS and crop simulation modeling will be preferred.


SRF (Social Sciences): M.Sc(Ag) Agricultural Economics, Agriculture Extension, M.A (Sociology), and MSW(Masters in Social Work). Knowledge in GIS and economic models will be preferred.

Age limit : 35 years
